The Community Relations Office of the University of Virginia, in partnership with the area public schools (Albemarle, Greene, Fluvanna, Nelson and the city of Charlottesville) and Piedmont Futures, is hosting a Career EXPO for all 7th grade students in the area.

The Career EXPO will provide students with the opportunity to explore exhibits related to careers representing various career families, other postsecondary training and employment options.

Additionally, each student will participate in an interactive presentation on the importance of developing Workplace Readiness Skills and the importance of maximizing high school opportunities, including preparing for and accessing college and technical programs.

Each school will attend a half-day session on one of the two event dates. For more information, please contact Lee Davis at lee.davis@ccs.k12.va.us
